Conjoint Certificate in Eastern Christian Studies
The Faculty of Theology at the University of St. Michael’s College offers a conjoint certificate in Eastern Christian Studies.
This program is open to all basic degree students at any Toronto School of Theology college in addition to their course of studies. The program is a separate certificate granted by the Faculty of Theology at the University of St. Michael’s College in addition to one’s MDiv/MTS program.
The Certificate in Eastern Christian Studies consists of seven (7) courses of which two (2) shall be considered required courses: (Foundations of Eastern Christian Theology SMT1104H and General Introduction to the Eastern Churches SMJ161HF).
The remaining five (5) courses shall be chosen from amongst other Eastern Christian courses at the TST from the following four (4) categories: theology, history, liturgy, and spirituality. At least one course must be taken from each category.
