The Priestly Ministry of Good News (Rom 15:16): Clergy Continuing Education- Kerygmatic Preaching
“The Priestly Ministry of Good News” will offer suggestions for discovering in the Lectionary and the Liturgy, the message God wants you, and your congregation, to hear when you gather for worship. From hearing the Word to crafting a compelling message, we will discuss practical strategies as well as the theology behind liturgical preaching by ordained priests and deacons.
Prior to this session, The Sheptytsky Institute will host Lenten Sixth hour from 12:00-13:00 in St. Sophia Chapel, located in Elmsley Hall. Lunch will follow at Sheptytsky House before Fr. Jack’s instruction.

Fr. Jack was Dean, Professor of Scripture, and Instructor in Homiletics at the Byzantine Catholic Seminary from 1996 to 2009. He is a priest of the Byzantine Ruthenian Eparchy of Passaic.
