Fr. Brian Kolodiejchuk lecture and preaching at MASI this weekend

Renowned Specialist on Mother Teresa at Sheptytsky Institute Student Chaplaincy this Weekend

This Friday, January 20 at 6:00pm, Fr. Brian Kolodiejchuk, CM, the renowned author and editor of several books on Mother Teresa of Calcutta, will be speaking at the Sheptytsky Institute Student Chaplaincy, University of St. Michael’s College. Fr. Brian worked closely with Mother Teresa for decades and was the postulator for the cause of her canonization as a saint.

Fr. Brian will be sharing his experiences with Mother Teresa at Windle House (5 Elmsley Place) at the heart of the USMC campus. A Q & A will follow his talk. Fr. Kolodiejchuk was ordained for the Missionaries of Charity in the early 1980s in his native Ukrainian-Byzantine Rite (with Mother Teresa present), and has served in the Roman Rite for decades because of his work in Mother Teresa’s communities throughout the world. Her communities now exist in Ukraine as well.

Fr. Kolodiejchuk will also be preaching during the Sheptytsky Institute Chaplaincy Divine Liturgy (Eucharist) on Sunday, January 22 at 11:30am. The Divine Liturgy is celebrated in the St. Sophia Chapel, Elmsley Hall, 85 St. Mary St.
