Lunch at Sheptytsky – The Making of “Gypsy Priest”

“Gypsy Priest” is the story of Father Miklos Soja, a Greek Catholic priest, whose mission among the Gypsy community during communism in Hungary inspired a national movement of Gypsy ministry among the most marginalized group in Europe. Long before the Second Vatican Council, Father Soja understood how walking with others in Christian friendship is still the most powerful approach to evangelization. Come hear Laura leraci, producer and director of this new documentary, share stories and a multimedia presentation about Father Soja, whose cause for canonization wil soon be opened, and how this project came to life.

Laura leraci is an award-winning journalist, editor and documentary filmmaker. She is the founder of AVIVA Media & Communications and The Religion & Journalism Project.
