Rev. Prof. Ihor Boyko received his D.Th.M. from the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome in the area of Moral Theology. He taught THO 2145 Selected Topics in the Moral Tradition of the Christian East 1: Bioethics in Eastern Christian Perspective in the Univ summer program (Summer 2007)

Daniel Galadza
Daniel Galadza was assistant professor at the Chair of Liturgical Studies and Sacramental Theology of the Catholic Theology Faculty in the University of Vienna from 2013 to 2018. He is currently international research partner at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and a member of the Patriarchal Liturgical Commission in Kyiv. Dr. Galadza’s research focuses on the historical development of liturgy, particularly the Byzantine Rite, as well as modern and contemporary Orthodox and Eastern Catholic worship and church singing. He is a deacon of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Kyiv.
His first major monograph Liturgy and Byzantinization in Jerusalem, was published by Oxford University Press in 2018.
Brian Butcher
Brian A. Butcher has taught for the Institute for the past seven years; at Saint Paul University in Ottawa, as Assistant Professor, he offered courses in both Eastern and Western Christian traditions. His first major monograph has recently been published with Fordham University Press: Liturgical Theology After Schmemann: An Orthodox Reading of Paul Ricoeur. Other publications of note include a chapter on “Orthodox sacramental theology in the 16-19th centuries,” in the Oxford Handbook of Sacramental Theology (OUP, 2015).
Dr. Butcher also lectures at Ottawa’s Augustine College. His professional associations include membership in the American Academy of Religion, the Society of Oriental Liturgy and the North American Academy of Liturgy. He is a subdeacon in the Ukrainian Greco-Catholic Church.
