A digest of the memoirs of Countess Sheptycka, on the early life of Metropolitan Andrew Sheptysky, with reflections and comments by Brother Vincent Tomaskiewicz. The book recounts Sheptytsky’s birth, his life as a young boy, early and high school years prior to the calling to the Lord. It continues with his trials and sorrow, his time an Russia and Rome and his audience with the Pope.

First printed as a series of articles in The Redeemer’s Voice, from May 1981 through July-August 1982. Published in booklet form by the Central Jubilee Committee of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. The booklet was sponsored by the Sheptytsky Council of the Knights of Columbus, Saskatooon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
