In 2014 leading Orthodox and Ukrainian theologians and scholars met at St. Michael’s College, University of Toronto, to discuss the future of Ukrainian Orthodoxy in the global family of Orthodox Churches.
Initiated and organized by the National Executive – Ukrainian Self-Reliance Association of Canada (Товариство Українців Самостійників в Канаді), the symposium featured Metropolitan Yurij (Kalistchuk) of Winnipeg, John Chryssavgis, Archbishop Yevstratiy (Zoria), Serhii Plokhii, Viktor Bed, Jaroslaw Buciora, Roman Zaviyskyy, Heather Coleman, Peter Galadza, Nicholas Denysenko, Oleksandr Sagan, Yaroslaw Lozowchuk, Roman Yereniuk and many others.
