Rev. Prof. Pavlos Koumarianos received his Ph.D. in Theology in 1996 from the Pontifical Institute of History and Theology of the Eastern Churches in Rome with a specialization in liturgics and is working on his second Ph.D. at the University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He taught THO 2144 The Contribution of Maximus the Confessor at the summer program in Orangeville (Summer 2002). He was a sessional lecturer for THO 6376 Mystical-Ascetical Approaches to Eastern Christian Studies: The Spiritual-Theological Legacy of Maximos the Confessor (Winter 2003).
